Blue Moon Fabric Arts accepts Visa and MasterCard.
Ontario Retail Sales Tax (8%) will be added to all art purchases unless
they are shipped out of the province, plus a shipping fee. All orders will be shipped
when your credit card charge is approved. All
fibre art is insured when shipped.

for patterns and kits (wholesale):
There
is no minimum order for patterns or kits at wholesale prices. No shipping charges will be added for Ontario
addresses. Tax of 8% will be added to the price.

Commission
Work
None of my
artworks can be exactly reproduced, however a similar
version can be created. It
can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months to create a piece, depending on
the size and complexity and my schedule. Commissions
are accepted only from clients I can have direct (person-to-person)
contact with. Commissions
are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. I
do not accept commissions for bed quilts, baby quilts, designs using
traditional patterns or projects that
use other’s patterns.
Direct copies of any artworks are against
the law and could result in lawsuits.
The client needs to either:

Provide
an original photograph or drawing of their own

Accept
a “loose interpretation” of other artwork

Provide
written permission by the party who holds the copyright on an image

Allow
me to create an original design, subject to client approval
You
will need to determine:

A
contract will be provided, requiring a 50% deposit, with the remainder due
upon delivery. Local clients may elect to have the artwork installed
for an additional fee. There is an additional consultation fee
(depending on location) if I need to travel to meet with the
client.
Pricing
estimates:
A
sunprint on one piece of fabric, with borders, averages $60.00 per sq. ft.
An
original fabric painting on one or two pieces of fabric to create an image
averages $75.00 per square ft.
An
original Fine Artquilt can range anywhere from $200.00 to $500.00 per
square foot, depending on the size and complexity of the image.
Commissioned
dolls also are dependent on complexity and amount of time required to
complete it. Refer to the doll gallery to get an idea of my price ranges.

Trunk
Shows:
Anna
Redish and I provided trunk shows of our work for several years,
bringing up to 80 pieces to show to our audiences. Due to personal choices
and circumstances, we've taken a break from Trunk Shows after the spring
of 2005.
