Moonflower

The Moonflower is the first piece I constructed using the machine appliqué technique after taking a class with Caryl Bryer Fallert (see favourite teacher sites on my "Information Page"). This quilt was inspired by the works of Georgia O'Keefe. All  fabrics are hand-dyed by Anne Redish.  Machine quilted using cotton and rayon threads. 

"Moonflower" was selected as one of 50 quilts for the 2002 Ontario Juried Show in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario.
