After I had made a few monochromatic dolls,
I wanted to try more variations in colour. Still experimenting with shapes
of heads and torso proportions, I created Merry as a type of Jester doll.
Silk and cotton were used for her multi-layered skirt, with beads, rayon
yarns and
sequins sewn on for detail. Ribbons hang down from her multi-coloured
hair.
