This is a hand-painted piece of fabric, with batik borders using Setacolour Paints and the sunprinting method to create white shadows on the painted fabric. Machine quilted in variegated rayon threads, with glass and genuine turquoise beads added for accent. The shapes remind me of ballet poses.
